Greetings and respect. I am Mohsen Pourheidari, and this is Radio Chahar Naal. I am extremely happy to be with you dear ones with another episode. In the twenty-sixth episode, you are going to hear very interesting and educational talks. My guest in this episode is the dear Maziar Jamshidkhani, who is one of the great, renowned, and respected equestrians in the equestrian community and also a member of the coaching committee of the Equestrian Federation. I hope that addressing this issue will greatly help you dear ones in advancing your goals and be educational. Another request is to share your issues of any kind with us so that I can find appropriate answers by addressing the right issues on the radio, which will hopefully lead to growth and progress for our sports community and especially for the horses in the near future. We have been members of the coaching committee for almost 11 years along with Masoud Makani-Nejad and Hossein Fekri.

In these few years, you have been criticized a lot about the work process. Of course, you came from a practically very disorganized system, gave an organization, dissolved a series of documents that were previously given in a now random and selective manner, and tried to give an organization to this education, which is really commendable. At least you gave a chart to this system, but still, there are some criticisms of you. Well, in these years that you were, that is, when you took over, how was the work?

First of all, let me say that you called me a master, I still don't call myself a master. Greetings to all the kids and all the equestrian enthusiasts, and I am really happy that you have so much kindness towards me. Be healthy. Let me say that regarding mastery, I really don't consider myself a master; there is a long way to go to reach mastery, but the kids kindly say so. Let me say that the question you ask here is very related to mastery because we had to sit in the position of mastery there and do this work, and we were very young.

It was in 2012 that Masoud Makari, Faramarz Bab-al-Havaiji, and I formed the core and initial committee of this educational committee that you now see and is still struggling to continue. Yeah, for about three days, I was connected to it, and we started, and I remember we made a pact with each other, the three of us in that committee. Mr. Habibi was also present, Mr. Ezzat was there too.

But they gradually faded due to their age and the travels they had to constantly make for teaching, and it became harder for them, and then Mr. Fekri and Mr. Moghaddam came. But well, the three of us, Faramarz, Masoud, and I, were always there. Masoud has always been the head in the committees, and I am a witness to how much effort he put into this story. For years, I, who am now very famous for being active in that committee, admit myself that.

Out of these 10, 11, 12 years, maybe three or four years, I got tired and didn't continue, but Masoud still, with every federation president, dragged this lifeless body to this point, didn't let its structure fall apart. The issue is that there are many flaws in the education system of this country. Now before we get there, let me ask a question so our discussion has a framework. What were the most important challenges you faced during these 11 years as those who were supposed to.

Move this train, making righteous people who are sufficiently knowledgeable. If I want to say briefly and usefully, unfortunately, those who had the knowledge and ability were caught up in enmity and trouble with each other in the provinces. It's always categorization in the provinces, whoever you talk to says there's a team here, they eat dragons, be careful. You go talk to them. Of course, this is unfortunately the nature of us Iranians that we can't work as a team with each other and don't have reconciliation. The hardest thing, in my opinion, was finding a good instructor. Exactly this thing that Masoud Makarem complained about that we didn't have someone we could fit into this system and with their help, the quality of the next generation that came into it went down. I don't want to criticize anyone or blame anyone, but I don't want to name names, but the new generation that came and is now helping with this story.

Their quality is much lower because, with your question, we as the previous generation couldn't produce someone like ourselves, at least like ourselves. While the whole world produces better than themselves. One thing that I criticized in an interview with Masoud Makarem was how you couldn't train a few instructors in at least the first five or six years in this space. Now I'll tell you a story from the beginning to now quickly so you can understand it.

Maybe the answer to many of these questions is in this story that I am now describing from the whole technical committee. When we took over the position, it was the end of Mr. Tabesh's work, and we know what a disaster it was. That is, especially at the end of their work, to give a report, they issued 65 certificates for each province, which I myself went to one of those classes and got a level three certificate. I saw a very interesting scene. The instructor in the same class where I was riding, I was a national champion, had many students in 2008.

I had given many students to the riding community, but I didn't have a certificate, and well, without a certificate, it's wrong, and the principle is to go take the exam from the base. I can't come and say I'm the best in the country, etc. I went and took the exam from 3. Then in that class where the group we were riding, the instructor said to the person in front of me, he didn't know how to kick to make it go. You saw that a beginner kicks and it doesn't go, he kicked and saw it doesn't go. I said kick it to go, saw it doesn't work. He kicked and saw it doesn't go, looked and saw everyone is getting up and sitting down.

They went freely into the step, and then he got the certificate. The proportion of conditions and the corrupt system, corruption is not just taking money and issuing cards. Corruption is that to be more successful in the next presidency, in the next elections, you issue cards like this to people. This is called system corruption. The cities wrote letters that.

Go to Tehran, as you said, their relatives came from there. Certainly, I don't deal with this part. We took over such a ruin.

Masoud, Faramarz, and I made a very good decision. We canceled a large number of cards, even though our work was illegal. At that time, the law was such that once a card was issued, we could not make any changes to the Ministry of Sports' regulations. The cards had no expiration date. To organize this training, we held a test course and re-examined individuals. Masoud, Faramarz, and I were at the forefront of this story, and we tore up the cards of those who could not pass the test right there. Many people who were not related to riding had their cards canceled. Nearly 700 to 800 cards had been issued, and we tested about 12,300 people to see if they were really riders.

One person in the entrance test said we did not allow him to go towards bias. We did not give him a score in Snap and said that his score had been determined beforehand. We tried not to issue unnecessary cards in this corrupt system and to bring deserving individuals into the system. We made efforts in cities where we needed to train people. But from 2014 onwards, we formed an efficient committee that exists in all federations.

We were looking to have top-level coaches. In the country's educational system, there must be people who can provide the necessary training. But it didn't happen that way. In 2014, I presented a plan to Mr. Khalili, which was not accepted. My criticism of the system was that you cannot train a rider with two tests and a letter from a coach. Those who are interested and active in clubs should be trained as board employees and receive salaries. These individuals should be introduced to top-level coaches, and a progress report should be taken from them every six months.

We couldn't test people for humanity and give them a score. Many people did not deserve this work. The law did not allow us to set a red line for the humanity and integrity of this sport. In the educational system, there is no test in the field of coach psychology. We needed to increase the depth of this lake, not just expand its breadth. Before the revolution, riders who were employees of the Physical Education Organization would come to Tehran, and their qualifications were confirmed by coaches like Mr. Norouzadeh in Hamedan and others.

There was a gentleman in Mashhad whom all the kids were students of at Ferdowsi Club. No, everyone was a student of that gentleman. I have forgotten all their names, but these are prominent examples that form the foundations of that sport. The main reason I keep repeating it is that I talked about this plan in the previous episode, and here I want to elaborate and expand on it a bit. What was important and correct in this process was the same thing we talked about once, and you said the main life of a person who doesn't have this work at midnight, noon, and so on.

It depends on the condition of your horse, depending on life and competition conditions. You have to be on top of this story 24 hours a day and dedicate your entire life to it. Only after a while, whether it happens or not. The issue is not that someone saddles up, comes to ride, and then the same owner comes and sits down to get a coaching certificate because he has memorized all the theories. The question is clear, well, we can't take more tests for the grade from him. What do we do? I don't know, take some test.

Then the federation doesn't give us a horse, and we have a bunch of donkeys in our private club. Everyone, kids, sir, you have us take a test, do this and that. That is, over the years, everyone witnessed how we took the work into our own hands. We had location problems, preparation problems, and club problems. Exactly after everyone complained that my horse didn't fall into good water. Now explain, sir, I just wanted to see your session. Well, then you can't ask this rider for more for grade three. So the question becomes clear after three years. Everyone went and got a coaching card. I don't know a bunch of people who are not related to this work.

Now compare these with Mr. Norouzadeh, who is Alireza Bakhtiari's coach, and a generation of people came out of him. The father of Mr. Asghar Nourizadeh and the names of those two brothers in Spain I can't remember. God willing, if anyone remembers, comment under this post. Yes, this was good, it was good. They laid the foundation for modern riding in Isfahan, which became Masoud Makari-Nejad, Ali Makari. All the kids who now have their own style in Isfahan, have a model.

Again, the coach in Mashhad was a gentleman who was a bit chubby and had little hair at Ferdowsi Club. This too, if all the kids comment, Alireza Qotb Sharif, I don't know Saeed Saeedi Konvisia, etc., they were all his students. Mr. Sajjadi's command came out of that generation, which then became the foundation of this riding that is now in Mashhad, which now, due to centralization, they have all returned to Tehran and it is disappearing. I said ma'am, this has nothing to do with it, these are coaching cards. Then from the federation, they pressured us that you have to give this card. You see some things, what a flawed cycle it is. Let me add something, of course, I'm sorry I talked too much in front of you, but in the discussion of educational sciences, there is a model called the T model. In English, it says that, for example, in riding that we are talking about, for example, a rider should know a little about shoeing, a little about stable work, a little I don't know.

Things related to the horse and the stable without specializing in that part that practically becomes the base of the T, for example, becomes riding training, this talk. That is, one of the educational models is the T model, for example, riding these skills, these skills are in it. These skills are shoeing, veterinary, accounting, caretaking, grooming. Specialized rider that I saw some of you riding, the same main life of the kids who grew up and grew up alongside, sorry I wanted to add to your talk.

Let me say that Mr. Dr. Khalili didn't take it seriously at all because of the rights and because he didn't want this to change at all because the number of these would come down sharply and it would take time and the qualities would go up and fundamentally management in the government in the government we are living in now is short-term management. They don't think about the long-term at all, it doesn't matter what happens to sports in 20 years, 50 years later.

Are our children ever going to see a good day, or after 45 years, can they still only go once every four years? With the experience and effort this country has invested in me, the hardships I've endured, should I sit at home and watch national competitions on TV? Should my child do the same? We have become a society of unresolved issues, everything remains silent, and they are produced perfectly.

If you look now, Dr. Tabesh's bulletin is excellent, Dr. Khalili's bulletin is excellent, and so on. In my opinion, we have declined. The previous generation, like Jamshid Khani Masoom, are very big names who were trained. Did you really manage to produce your own religion because the federation and the country's educational system took the wrong direction, and they went towards giving Gilan away and didn't let that happen again? Look at the equestrian community.

The financial community, exactly, let me say something so that, God forbid, my words are not misunderstood. When I say our quality has gone down, many people mistakenly think I'm telling tales that it used to be much better and now it's much worse. No.

Equestrianism is present now, like Ramin Shahabi from the generation after me. I jumped as an adult for years, Ramin became the national youth champion, among the later generations who came and ride very beautifully. It can be said it was the wish of past generations to one day ride like Ramin Shahabi. The point is not about these aspects. We are looking at the larger scale of the issue, about who is going to run this country's sport.

Who in which city can uphold the honor of this sport so that later, in any film where they want to show fraud, they don't show equestrianism? You know what I mean, you can't just say education.

The meeting is good, I won't mention names, but among them was a fraudster, a fraudulent person who went and complained, and we really went to court. It remains that we resisted giving cards to certain people, and I even boycotted for a couple of years. Masoud was very upset with me, saying you left us alone and became Marvel.

All these stories are interconnected. We can't tell someone in a system that only thinks about presenting a balance sheet next year to get things going, who neither knows anything about horses and equestrianism nor has enjoyed it nor has any thoughts for its future, that I, Maziar Jamshidkhani, say this with courage. I'm like a spark and not the result of a proper educational system.

Because my father was Mehdi Jamshidkhani, I was born in a proper environment. Yes, I was raised lucky and saw the generation of wise people doing this work. I was one of those kids who, before the water trough came, would give water to the horse with a bucket. You know, everything was manual, and we had to do all the work ourselves to be given a horse. The story was that you even had to wash the equipment, polish the boots so that next time you would be taken there.

Therefore, I, Maziar, after all these years of seeing these things and riding in all disciplines, dressage, endurance, etc., the only discipline I didn't do was polo and racing. It's only been 10 years that I've understood what to do, and only 10 years that I've grasped the essence of the work. After all this, I no longer make mistakes with students and don't make big mistakes with horses. After all these years of working and doing manual labor for people, from taking tours.

For strangers, from jumping wild horses and riding. You know what era I'm talking about, and I want to say it's laughable that you come and tell people with 2 years, yes, they bring a paper from a committee that we've been riding for 5 years and I have a diploma or higher. Something like that, and they come and take an exam that you know how ridiculous it is. Well, then this person becomes a level three coach of the equestrian federation. Now, this is one matter. There was a question in the questions that we have reached now, and I will answer it now.

Is the level 3 certificate even correct? Its level for these people we are giving the word conscientiousness to is very big. I have a level 3, it's terrible. Now wait, in the plan I had given, all these were graded. This exam model was also in that plan, but.

They would take this test and give the person an equestrian card. Coaching, the word coach, equestrian card means you are allowed to go to a club and, by showing this card, get a horse and ride, and that's it. What does it mean, sir, level 3 coach, what terrible thing is in it that you can put a rider on a horse and teach them? I'm telling you after two generations.

Doing this work and having all this experience, I'm telling you it's only been 10 years that I've grasped the essence of the work. So this is a long-term job. The federation is not for today, yesterday, or tomorrow. If anything remains of this sport, it's purely the work of the private sector, purely my work as a lover, purely the work of the kids who have been doing this sport since the war. Let me also explain about the greats of this sport. In the middle of these words, once there was a word about the greats of this sport like Ali Agha Rezaei or.

Mr. Ezzat or so on, about the quality of the competitions of those years and so on, let me explain this, it's very important. In my opinion, they should make a statue of each of these people and place it in the history of this country at the entrance of all government clubs and those places that should belong to equestrian sports but I don't know why they belong to the municipality. Yes, the municipality, the equipment company, who is it, sir, these should be the property of the country's equestrian federation.

Equestrian club and in the hands of champions who have no place and are wandering here and there. The federation is a tenant. The university is so big, we are looking for a club for the country's champion. They should place the statue of these people at the entrance of each club and say in the days when wheat and rice were not available for families and missiles were hitting people, these people were gathering barley for their horses and cutting grass, bravo.

They cut grass around the garden, they laugh around the horses that were gathered for the horses. There are stories about people who really kept this sport going until it reached us. I myself really see myself in that position at least as one of those hard workers who have nothing to do with the federation, the government, the regime, or what the status of equestrian sports is among riders, among people, or society, or I have nothing to do with it at all. It's as if my duty now is to pass this sport on to the next generation.

I see a coach who didn't succeed, I made a mistake. Why? Because the system is not the right system. Right now, I'm a member of the coaches' committee and I'm not doing anything for it, but I decided to do something. Now let me first tell you the reason for this. Sir, we would open Instagram and see equestrian training, sit back, raise your hand, and certain views had been hit. Someone is lying under the horse's belly saying, "I was the god of equestrianism, now I'm a bit old, that's why it's like this," and another says something else.

Another one has a good presentation, sits down, and then sells live sessions to people, selling equestrian packages. Please make a video of this part and put it on Instagram.

It's terrifying for me to say this from here, sir, we don't have online training. If you see something in the videos, whoever is teaching is merely for correction, like a reference, meaning you see shoulder-in movement training with a good coach on a good horse with correct diagnosis, all of which have come together.

Then, as a reference, you look to see if Maziar Jamshidkhani also goes in the same way or not. This kind of training sells packages, sends a video from another city via WhatsApp, the instructor says okay, and then they take money from people. It became a story that we talked to Masoud a couple of times and several times with other kids, for years they wanted to do this work, and finally, I succeeded in starting this YouTube channel and tried to distance myself from the federation and the games that are at least not at my level.

This one became the president, then this one pulls, that one doesn't know, looking for a position, looking for a seat, this one insults that one, I had nothing to do with these things, I thought it would be better as someone who has a name in competitions, is somewhat known, at least among riders, whose word as a reference has also been taught in the federation, to come and provide correct training for free to the public, and this channel remains for the history of riding in Iran.

Maybe I make a lot of mistakes in its place, but my style and method have been like this, my financial ability to make videos is this much. Many of the videos are not to my liking, but I'm putting them up because I want to provide content that is at least closer to correct, and if you look at my teaching process over the years, you will realize that I gradually distanced myself from the federation and all these stories and became very disappointed. You know, there's a topic that I think a lot of this mistake is that the equestrian community is all sitting to see what program the federation has for them.

None of them are looking to see if coaching is allowed or not, they don't have the level of knowledge and certification, it's true, but see, the reference is very important. It's true, but many of those who get coaching cards, you have this better than the card players. You want to say this, no, no, no. They are looking for something else and have nothing to do with it, they are looking for judicial immunity. Yes, they make a very strategic mistake, meaning they make themselves miserable. I have this card, someone fell.

Unfortunately, clubs, to relieve pressure from themselves and many private clubs know, civil liability insurance is done and it's over. You know in the lifeguard and swimming system because you are a swimmer, you know pools must have civil liability insurance, both the lifeguard and the pool, but we in equestrianism.

No organization oversees this to see if you have submitted your insurance or not. You know the difference between a correct educational system and a sick educational system that is sick from the top, meaning it is sick from the Ministry of Sports, and now everyone is looking to give a report card to the higher-ups and gather something to improve their lives. I don't know with a place like Sweden where I was for years, this sport in Sweden is in the hands of people in this field.

Meaning those who have these conversations that you and I are having now in their minds as a normal issue. Sir, people must live for years to be called a coach. It's not their card. I have a rider here who has been riding for seven or eight years, I just told him you are allowed to take one or two students. Then I'm always over his shoulder to see what he's doing, what he's saying, how his personality is, how he talks, what he says. To your son, when he gets stuck, how does he get himself out of trouble? Does he know how to say, "Sir, I don't know this part, wait a minute," it's important. Yes, it is.

In the correct educational system of the world, the person who is in charge and is supposed to issue these cards looks to see if this person has worked under someone for ten years, okay, come here, let's see, now give these four tests, alright, you're accepted, go after your work. The issue is formalized, and now in the county, for God's sake, give two cards, this club is now sleeping and.

Now Mr. Jamshidkhani, I am better than him, I was going, you were bad with us from the beginning. You know or for example, it becomes famous that Maziar doesn't give grades. Sir, it's embarrassing. Mohsen, this is a sport that kings do. We are sitting on the back of an animal that has played a significant role throughout history. I said the headgear backward, the lady said I am the champion of such and such a place. I said, ma'am, what does this have to do with coaching? She said I say these things, I saddle up, I ride. I'm an equestrian coach, not a saddling coach. I said, oh, you should ride where in the club.

Club owner, oh, what's your job? She said equestrianism. I said club owner? She said no, but I want to do it. I said we came, and tomorrow the foreman cursed and left, fought, and left, what do you want to do? Who wants to say the basic issues of the club? Who knows them? There's a topic that unfortunately has somehow become the default of this system. Like for years, I've seen the topic of a good rider mixed with the topic of a good coach. The criterion of a coach.

Good coaching is the one who jumps 145 in the field, has jumped the national champion, has four titles, that one merely has more experience. Maybe really the power of transfer means the cognitive error that in the general public, the one who hasn't jumped 140, the one who hasn't seen the championship, speaks correctly. That's why the educational system is very disabled. See, if like other places in the world, we had good second and first-degree coaches and they were successful in their work.

The guy was crazy to go to a coach who isn't exactly in his stable for three days a week in the league and competitions in such and such place, not at all. He jumps, sees his wife and kids for a week, or thinks of Rolf, for example, sees at home, or Harry the Great, riding here and there from morning till night, not training students. It's over, they don't have time for this. This is where Masoud Makari.

I, Maziar Jamshidkhani, have been working without a coach for years. Who should tell us how to solve our problems or who will come to raise our level a bit? The truth is that this is again the responsibility of the private sector.
