متن کامل گفتگو
For some time now, I've been noticing that many of the clothes we use are produced domestically in Iran. There was a time when you had to import everything you wanted, but now very good manufacturers like Arayli have been able to produce products that make us needless of buying foreign clothes. They have produced riding pants, riding jackets, pins, t-shirts, and even socks.
These products can easily be compared with foreign products, which shows that we have the ability to produce, and we just need to support each other. Often, this support leads to better products being offered in the market. Arayli has also managed to find a good position in the Iranian market and has even started exporting. I will put the link to their Instagram page in the description for you. Go to their page, choose any product you want, message them, and receive it at your doorstep without any hassle.
The most important thing that Arayli has done well over these past few years is both the up-to-date designs and the quality of their products. Personally, I have been using their products for 4-5 years and am truly needless of buying foreign clothes. Let's appreciate each other and support domestic producers more. Greetings to all you good listeners of the radio.
I hope your days are good and your health is well. With episode fifty-seven of Radio 4 Review, I am once again your guest. In 1404, I decided to turn to the new generation and help these dear ones be seen more, be able to talk about their problems, and be able to envision a future for themselves, and this will not be solved except by talking about these issues. My guest on this program is Amir Mohammad Hossein Ali, who is one of the equestrian talents of our country.
He is with his father, who honored us by coming in front of the camera and microphone of Radio 4. It's an interesting conversation, and I certainly know that these talks and these problems are common to many. I hope that after hearing these talks, we can think together and with empathy help the next generation of our equestrian community to be less involved in problems and be able to build their future themselves. This interview was recorded at Kimia Kamyar Studio, and I thank them very much for the support they have for me and Radio 4. Kimia Kamyar herself is one of the.
Young and professional photographers and also a young and professional equestrian. My colleagues in this episode, as always, the photographer of this episode Kimia Kamyar, the designer of the Instagram post cover and also the poster of this episode Farshid Jahanbazi dear, and the good composers of Radio 4 episodes Ms. Negin Goudarzi and Erfan Moghadam dear.
I won't talk more than this. I invite you to listen to episode fifty-seven of Radio 4. In the name of God, Mr. Mohammad Hossein Ali, thank you for accepting our invitation and being a guest on Radio Chaman. It is personally an honor for me to see a talented teenager in front of me and talk to him. If you have any greetings, please go ahead, and then we'll move on to the questions. I present to you the viewers of Radio Chaman. I am Amir Mohammad Hossein Ali. Very well. What year are you in? Born in 86. Did you start in 86? From the age of 6. From the age of 6. Who was your first coach? My first coach was my father. So your father put you on the horse? Yes. Well, I worked with my father for a few years, then I went to Mr. Ramin Shahabi.
Majid Sharifi and now I am working independently. Very well. Twelfth. Twelfth. Then how do you go to the club and study at the same time? With difficulty. What was your average last year? I think 18 and something. Really 18? Are you sure? Yes, you made me happy. Is your average really 18? You study and work, that's very good. The ultimate stages.
I think that an equestrian with a bachelor's or master's degree is the most equestrian in my opinion. Because I come to study, maybe now you study another field, but changing your perspective on the world around you is a good thing in my opinion. Now, God willing, do you plan to continue studying or not? Yes, I will continue. To what level? Bachelor's. What field do you want to study? I haven't thought about the field. It should be a field that I think is related and helps you too. It's good, again, to read and study, it helps a lot.
I hope. Well, tell me some of the positions you really liked. I became the national champion. What year? I think in 401. Youth? Youth, yes. It was the FBI final. I achieved it in 403. Did you come first? I came second. I came second. Well done. Then I became the provincial champion. Now the province of Tehran. These positions that you really liked that I saw riding. Iranian breed now or two-headed or two-blood as they say.
Conclude that finally both its style and model are good so that I can ride the horse. Now there were horses like Turkmen and these that I could manage them and I could ride them. It was your father's choice, in fact, he deemed it appropriate to start with this horse. But well now a few more years they ride less, now I am more on foreign imports.
I am not responsive because to stay in the category we have to then something that now before we record we were talking about was how you train those two-bloods and these or now Turkmens how did you learn these? By being in the situation, I studied. How many riding books have you read so far? Well, I read online, I go and read the articles. Seriously? Yes, I translate. Well done. Well, I read and I mean constantly.
I am learning. I always browse Instagram related to horses and I extract the clips, the type of exercises, all of them, and well, it's good. You certainly participated a lot in the juniors. What challenges did you face moving from juniors to youth? What things? What issues? Lower height, naturally the paths.
What challenge did the height increase have in the middle? In this category change, one thing was that I had to update my riding because when the height goes higher, you can't have a very ordinary ride. You have to ride a little more compactly and scientifically. Higher height, then I prepared more and it's a new space that you have to prepare yourself for. Well, I got ready and you didn't have any specific challenges? No specific challenges. Then in the middle, how much time did you spend on ground work, nerves, and jumping?
I work on the ground. I mean, maybe I take the jump once a month. Did you go yourself? I studied more and found it easier this way. For example, again, the story of foal horses is different. Generally, when they are young, you should jump more so they learn, but learning, they already know, they just need to keep their bodies ready and their minds comfortable because they know how to jump, they don't need it anymore.
The coach's specialty now that I know you came a year earlier if I'm not mistaken, not four years earlier, young people not a year earlier, you are 20 years old now? No, 18 years old, not 21 until 21 years old, until 21 years old, oh I understand, sorry I made a mistake for a moment.
You came a year earlier. What did you see in yourself that made you come a year earlier and compete with those who are older and more experienced than you? I felt that my horse was very ready and to raise my equestrian level sooner and use my young horses, I preferred to come and spend my time. If we want to go to adults at this speed and jump there, we will face a world of competitors. Don't you think that this...
Control the speed at home? Maybe you will be more experienced in adults or just rely on your personal ability? After all, experience is gained. Every competition you go to, you gain new experience. What I have realized from my own experience over these years is that when kids fill their ranks earlier and reach adults, when they enter the adult rank and see the competitors, they very clearly realize that, for example, at the age of 13 or 14...
Jamshid Khani, Faramarz Bal, Hovaji, Mahmoud Pourheidari, Ramin Shahabi, Majid Sharifi, Alireza Khoshdal, there are not few to compete with. What is the difference between them and you? Maybe your riding skills are close, but the matter of experience is very important. Don't you think this high speed might keep you inexperienced? No, we try to keep ourselves updated. I try to update my riding knowledge, update my information, update my way of working. All of these, in my opinion, help a person elevate themselves.
Ride and return. What is always there is one of my goals. Work with a good coach and return to ride again. What plans do you have for military service? How much are you really in a hurry for life to end and to get to your work sooner? Ultimately, what will you become? A colleague, yes, equestrian. Do you think the future of life is secured with an equestrian coach? Have you thought about it?
What skill do you know besides equestrian? I work with my father. Eventually, for any reason, you won't want to continue, what alternative skill do you have to easily make a living? I think that also relates to the discussion. No, you haven't thought about being outside the horse world for any reason. Do you know why I asked you this question? Because...
I want to say very clearly that someone whose job is equestrian is practically walking on the edge of a knife. Many equestrians were there, for example, recently Amir Zahedi was there. I remember in the year 18, I think there were four or five painters who fell and their lives were disrupted for two or three years. Now, thank God, they have returned, but in any case, this danger is always there. I want to see if you have thought about what you will do if one day you don't want to ride?
Think that you are not a coach now but have a high level of equestrian as a horse owner. You are not waiting for a horse owner to come to you tomorrow, a sponsor to come, not to go out to the city competition, now the owner doesn't undermine you. What job do you think you can replace to live comfortably but also have riding? Instead of selling options as a coach, buy options as a horse owner with all the love and passion I know you have. I ask you because...
Many people think that there is always a fixed income here and it might be okay for them in every way, but in practice, we do not witness this in Iran. That is, if you look at the lives of veterans and the old ones, they really had to face difficulties in making a living at some point. In Europe, the story is different. In developed countries, equestrians have the ability to buy a club for themselves, but we, given our economic conditions and living environment, do not have this struggle. That is, we keep getting caught up. What have you thought about other than this that you shouldn't but should say you like, not you can say I haven't thought about it at all.
Make another move, that is, make my riding level so that I can easily work with it and have freedom. I want to make a move, yes, I am thinking about it. This does not require having good academic education in that field. Think about it, well, that also has a lot of impact. That also, yes, it has an impact. It has an impact. I am very hopeful that at least at the age of 22, with a very professional bachelor's degree in a more professional prestige than what is now...
Be. Well, in the past year, the year 403, you were one of the chances to be sent outside of Iran and you expressed dissatisfaction with this issue and I completely agree with you. What happened that you couldn't go? You were in the top two rankings as far as I remember. What happened that you couldn't go? Mischief, you could say what happened, well, there were some actions that were taken and...
The notifications that should have been done were not done. A competition that has points, that is, the first competition that has points in a year should be announced because before that 10 competitions, 10 cups, 10 different sponsored competitions were held with no points. That is, all the cups held under the title of tour and I don't know this story had no points 95 percent of the competition. Before, they announced it, before it had. Before, it had all the points. Well, for example, the board held a competition like them, it didn't have, but all the cup competitions...
Had ranking and points, but now last year when it was time to send, whatever we saw, we calculated, we saw every competition had no points, that is, all the cups, I definitely won the final in the youth, that also had no points. This 95 percent of the competitions had no points. After the national championship, there was no competition that had points, that is, the only national champion competition had points, then they put a competition and then they didn't inform that this competition...
Is very involved in raising your points on the fact that we want to send and these two companies, the hottest week of the year, I remember. Yes, then I didn't participate in the competition because of my horse's condition and myself because I had experience, another year there was the Iranian championship competition at Abrish club. Yes, I got sick, I got sick, my horse was under serum for a week. Yes, I remember that's why you didn't participate and that point, I would have been the first person.
You were the first to be sent. It's interesting to see what you, as a teenager, expect the elders, the veterans, to do for you. I expect not as someone who, for example, comes and tells you Amir Mohammad Hossein Ali, for example, don't behave like this, or for example, hold a class, or take the initiative themselves, I don't know, teach you something. Are you receptive to this? Absolutely receptive, many people would like it, but they aren't like that. I don't think anyone would do such things, then...
I don't know why I feel competitive, as if among those who are riding, because equestrianism is a sport that doesn't have a shedding process like other disciplines, for example, it doesn't have a specific athletic age, you can ride at any age, well, it's much harder for us to compete at this age with those who have national championships as long as we've been riding, it's very hard for them, but well, we are together.
So far, I don't know, not that you don't have support, you even had challenges with them, very unconsciously, yes, you definitely felt this challenge, was it direct, face-to-face, or not? What did I tell you, I was working at a club, no, I was working at a club, the owner of the same club who, for example, claims to be old, 60 years old, and so on, they were undermining, Mr. you can't come.
From the beginning, become our student, I don't know, just last year, what kind of riding is this, and what is this square work you did, now this and that, a person remains, you have all these claims, for example, old you, for example, as they say, you got four positions and built a first-class club, and these, what behavior is this, well Amir Mohammad, you as someone who is at the beginning of the equestrian slope, you are young and want to build a future, what is your expectation from the federation, I would like the federation to do something for you.
The federation should pay attention to basic equestrianism, bring good ones from abroad, yes, or for example, hold camps for basic riders, teach them, they held clinics, you participated for knowledge enhancement, mostly to get money, there were things, I participated, they had set a condition that for a year we will select the national team from these clinics, I went.
Then people were selected who hadn't participated in the clinic at all for the competition, see now your voice might be heard by any official, so tomorrow now for this claim of yours, what evidence do you have, can you prove what you are saying, yes, it had become very bad, it had become a scandal, seriously, I didn't know, then they didn't take them to any competition, then well, they must pay a lot of attention to that rider for two days if an equestrian from Iran is supposed to go to the Olympics, come for the competitions, exactly riding, I don't think.
If I want to summarize, your point is that the federation should spend more time on education for you, for example, now by bringing a coach and trainer and this story, the resources that now, for example, we as veteran coaches, I don't know now, expert rider, whatever name you put, they don't suffice for your work, they are good up to a point, but well, for example, up to a certain point you become professional, you need, that is, you now feel the need for a foreign coach, how many like yourself do you think are good, finally they reach a point.
A sound reaches a level, feels that they need to know more, well, again, thank you for taking the time and coming, it was a great honor for me to talk to you as a child, as a teenager, to know your point of view, as a final talk, do you have any talk, do you want to complain, I don't know, you have to complain, even if you want to curse, I won't broadcast the curse, but whatever you feel you want to say so that others can hear, you are free now, for my age group, now younger riders, my suggestion is to start working with our own horses, that is, from Iranian ones, aha.
Iranian horses because they have less strength and technique and power, you are forced to ride from the same height of one meter with precision, ride with knowledge, this teaches you, up with a good horse, see until you are young, you should see, you get stuck with young people, well, I hadn't heard these things at all, such and such steps, because riding with Iranian horses is much harder with them because they don't have strength or much technique compared to foreign horses, then being able to build with them and ride, you can ride with any horse.
It's not very important, you can build your horse, you said a very nice thing, personally, I learned, bravo, greetings to your parents who took this time for you, hopefully, wherever you are, you are healthy, I really want to see you one day on international TV, in international competitions, on the first styles, it's my heartfelt wish, thank you again for taking the time, thank you Mr. Hossein Ali, thank you for accepting my invitation and accepting to interview with me as the father of Amir Mohammad Hossein Ali, I will definitely put your talks and.
Dear Amir Mohammad's in an episode so that all listeners can hear together, if you have any greetings now, please go ahead so I can get to the questions, please, thank you for your invitation, greetings to the viewers, I am at your service, be healthy, well sir, I will try to keep it very short so that the discussions don't get too long, what is your biggest concern as a father of a teenage rider, considering that now I know you are a horse breeder, you have a club, but I want to focus on the main discussion as a father for a 16-17-year-old boy in this sport.
The concern of every parent when a child starts a sport is that the environment, that the collection in which they are active, is very much liked that, for example, the collection where their child is active is a healthy environment, and in my opinion, if I could really or, for example, had something in my hand, I would say that the federation must have supervision over the equestrian club, at least over our own equestrian story, have supervision to create a healthy environment for our children, for example, what kind of supervision, for example, suppose you are now the president of F, what do you do.
Have supervision like many other professions, like many other federations, have supervision in club environments and equestrian places, yes, then you know well that you are a club owner, for many years, I think close to 20 years you have had a club, and you were very pioneering in producing pure Iranian horses, well, your son, Mashallah, one of his advantages is that with pure horses, he should always have won prizes in the field, achieved results, reached the championship with the same horse, why did you never want to go instead of, for example, going to set up a club or buy expensive ones for your child.
Well, look, my own opinion was that among beginner riders, those who are at the basic level can achieve better results with our purebred horses or with our domestic horses. In terms of size, strength, and technique, these are much more suitable for our children. Look, they are a bit challenging, but not too difficult. Yes, yes, of course, you know, when you get into their body, when you get into their system, they have their own character, meaning they have their own personality. A purebred horse has a certain appearance that, if maintained, yields great results.
For example, I personally believed that, sir, the cost you are spending on foreign horses for high jumps or anything, you should invest in the foundation for Turkmen or, for instance, from the purebreds you have. Don't just say that because this is a native horse, our own horse, it doesn't need this or that. No, it needs all these packages to achieve better results, which unfortunately, I have seen a lot in the junior ranks. For example, a child weighing 40 kilos riding a big horse wants to go up, but the horse doesn't turn in the evening, the child's strength isn't enough, and the horse isn't spirited.
The game has gone out, and my opinion is that some coaches, not all, some coaches, I think, don't benefit from this work. Their low prices and the price maneuver they can have for the owner, but in my opinion, purebred horses have much better results. Now, the most expensive one, which I think we ourselves traded.
May I ask, for convenience, how much is the difference with foreigners? Because the reality now is that we are all active in this field. Now, in the evening, a foreigner who jumps a 130 level, I don't know, maybe has some health, is worth three or four billion. I hear and see around me that, for example, they jump easily up to 110, 115, 120. What are their prices? Honestly, I don't know their price range, truly. But the horse I traded was at a base of 800 million tomans. 800 million tomans seriously reached this rate, jumping 125, jumping from the same Mohammad with Amir.
It has been traded. Yes, we really traded and sold, and now we really don't have any purebreds anymore. Why? Given the current conditions, everything is gone, everything is built, it has become very weak. See, coaches don't come to buy purebred horses for their children, for their students.
And this has caused the purebred Turkmen horse to become very pale. A little neglect in the past two or three years has put in a lot of effort. The Turkish ranks, Shushtar, yes, it sponsors itself, goes there, plans, takes the parkour from China, takes everything there, we have a competition in Khuzestan, but it has been set. It is really putting in a lot of effort. I really say this work hasn't shaken the market yet. Honestly, see, it has kept it alive a little.
It is breathing, it is still breathing. A few years ago, I told one of my friends, in my opinion, we have almost disappeared. We just came at one time, now I say Amir Mohammad came at a time, a little purebred jumped and achieved results and brought many. Again, it became more and more pale. Even we ourselves, who were now producers from Turkmen or, for example, trained them, educated them, now we really don't even have a little. Why? Because they don't buy. Because they don't buy. The problem that was in the federation was that it couldn't be identified, the horses couldn't get passports.
My point is that in the federation's transfer, the high cost of maintenance and the low price here, the Turkmen horse is really very oppressed. Because the cost is really resilient, resilient, really resilient. It comes and does what you want for you, but unfortunately, it has a very low price. Unfortunately, the role of brokerage has influenced it. It is true that brokerage rights should not practically make a breed and, so to speak.
It has been sent out, practically. Exactly, one of the clear examples is this. The clear example is that our horses were greatly harmed in two periods. One was during Nader's period when he made a breed attack, attacked. Another one here in the current situation really disappeared because of these prices. Because of these prices, one doesn't produce. Look, expensive fodder, expensive labor, the costs are overwhelming. And really, there is no sale. Whereas really the lower ranks.
With Turkmen children, it should start, which is the best market for the best horses for beginner children. I don't think we have better than Turkmen. Let me say very clearly, for 15 years, foreigners have become so popular, and now almost many of us were working with Turkmen blood. I remember many of the older ones, may God preserve them, the veteran Mr. Rezaei, many of the old ones went and brought a good Turk here, it really took hold. We really fought with purebred horses.
We fought in the fields with imported horses and achieved results. Keep in mind the height, every competition we participated in, we won a prize without exception with purebred. We didn't have a single competition where we didn't win a prize. We were first in 90% of the competitions, and in 10% we were between 1st and 3rd. The same purebred Iranian horse, Mr. Hossein Ali.
The sensitivities that I know about the effort and sensitivity you have on the purebred Iranian breed. Now I ask a question, you come in the morning. Sir, you are the first decision-maker on the purebred horse field, what offer do you give or what law do you set? What do you do to revive or maintain or so to speak, develop the horse? Look, our purebred horses are a national asset. They have reached us over thousands of years. We have to preserve them in some way. We should even provide them with some options. I think, I don't know, we can, for example, give them fodder, have them have toxic fodder. We can help them in production.
We can, my point is, those who participate in purebred discussions in competitions have a special advantage over riding, get higher points. We can put these to encourage them to use this purebred Iranian Turkmen horse. In my opinion, we should have our federation focus more on our purebred horses, which are our national asset, like many of our historical artifacts. Now, honestly, I don't care, but I know Mr. Kazemian is personally trying hard to bring these to a conclusion. Even he is riding, for example, organizing that purebred Arab also has a sports application because practically without a market, no producer starts production. A few years ago, the first time Erfan Asi jumped three or four people, now last year 50 people jumped in the country. Well, in my opinion, it's a good sign, but now that, for example, a rider rides an empty horse, it should have another offer, this is noteworthy. Let's go back to our talk about.
As a parent of a teenage child, you might have had this frustration with the federation regarding expectations for sending them to competitions, even if the competition wasn't ranked. What was the story behind this? They became the national champion, but then no other competitions were held. There was no ranked competition for teenagers, and they never said there was a specific rule about whether these competitions were ranked or not.
This is done based on preference. It's a matter of preference to hold a competition. In these ten competitions that we have for children, teenagers, and young people, at the end of the year, we announce the rankings of these competitions. We hold a very important competition, but our riders aren't ranked. So, what's the point? Even if a young person puts in the effort, participates in a competition, and becomes a champion, their prize is just one day.
Cash prizes don't seem very useful for these kids, in my opinion. It should be something they can keep as a reminder to boost their morale. Like what? For example, a cup or trophy, which isn't often given in competitions. Yes, the first-place champion and the eighth-place person receive the same prize, which doesn't motivate them. The competition you expected, considering the conditions at the time, happened twice before, and then it happened again.
Initially, when they invited, they said the third person wasn't there, and so on. In the second series for teenagers, unless they became champions, the first-place national champion went to the youth. Oh, first of all, Amir Mohammad should have gone, and his rank was even calculated, and it was high. A competition was held, but no important competition had been held until that date. A competition was held in the 52-degree heat of Tehran during a nationwide power outage. Yes, and since we hadn't come before, we said we had experience, participated in competitions, and for a month, they didn't come from above.
Then, to serve you, there was no competition, and a competition was held that we didn't participate in. We didn't participate, and the person who participated in the competition won a prize. It wasn't supposed to send anyone, but they decided to send someone in that competition. Oh, suddenly, during the second round when the teenagers finished, they announced inside the competition that.
We want to participate in this competition. Why? Because that person's rank was 2 points higher than Amir Mohammad's, and I hadn't participated in the competition, but like before, it doesn't result in anything. No one is accountable, and we didn't get a result either. Sir, thank you again for your time, and as a final word, as the old saying goes, say whatever you want.
Look, I continue to speak on behalf of all the foundational riders, parents, and coaches, meaning I talk to the foundations, the youth, and so on. Then there are programs and teenagers and riders and so on. Yes, because I myself was a teenager, saw them, worked with them, and so on. Their concern is going to competitions and winning prizes, not the money, not the amount. These things, like the rosette, are good, but they become a motivation for them as a souvenir, which is very important. We have colorful and beautiful cups just like that.
The federation receives good money for competitions, and the kids expect valuable cups that are truly worthy of the expenses the parents are incurring. When they put it in their home decor, it shouldn't be an iron cup or a plastic one. If you want, I can send you a picture to see. Because these kids are embarrassed to even put this cup in their decor to show someone. So, what's the point? They are really putting in the effort, they are really putting in the effort.
They are trying. Their parents are really spending money so they can achieve something. Well, the only way they are happy is if, first of all, they are respected, invited by good academies, have foreign coaches, and are seen, seen. Yes, seen. Because the future of our country's equestrianism is shaped by them. We have to accept a reality, this is the future generation, yes. Well, and this is something that at least in my 25 years of experience, I mean, through my father, I can jokingly say at the age of 50-60, as we moved forward, the generations.
Have become weaker, meaning you have, for example, 70 kids in the children category, 60 in the teenagers, and 20 in the youth. Then the outcome is that if the parents have money to buy from the class, that kid stays. That too, in my opinion, is only the result of us neglecting the foundational riders and always saying, sir, let's hold a competition, sir, we want principle 150, and that's not the reality. A question, what was the highest cash prize you received in a competition? I think the highest cash prize was seven million. Seven million for what competition? For a competition where the registration was 4 million. Yes.
What competition had a 4 million registration? For example, a test, meaning a tour was written, but for instance, Mr. Asiayi, God bless him, in this pure Iranian horse, there was a very good prize a few years ago, which was, for example, 10 million tomans, which was money for itself. There were competitions that gave a 10 million prize, they really gave coins. I really think Mr. Asiayi was sent by God for the pure horse, I mean, really, somewhere, I really appreciate him, I really enjoy it, and it's very interesting with all the neglect that has been done to him, with all the harassment that has been done, he still continues.
Let's put aside these sidelines. We are not doing the main work, Erfan, we are always in the sidelines, meaning we have so many sidelines that we don't exercise. Let's say we are transparent, we don't exercise. Now, God willing, God will help. Sir, thank you again for the health of your son, and God willing, we will see your child on the world championship podiums, the Olympics, and so on. Be healthy again, be healthy, goodbye.
