About the club
Norouz Abad Equestrian Club is one of the oldest and largest equestrian clubs in the country, which started its activities in 1972 under the name Norouzabad Equestrian Complex. This club is located at kilometer 7 of the old road (Fath) in the southwest of Tehran and is managed as a private club under the supervision of Davood Ghorbanpour.This complex covers an area of about six hundred thousand square meters, more than one-third of which is green space and forest, and about one hundred and twenty thousand square meters of it is agricultural land. The remaining space is dedicated to various equestrian sections, including a polo field, a racecourse, the main competition arena, training arenas, and stables; there are also three non-equestrian sports facilities including a swimming pool, a volleyball court, and a tennis court, as well as a restaurant, a buffet, a prayer room, and sanitary services in this complex.This club has 6 stables with a capacity of about 135 boxes. Its training arenas include a competition warm-up arena, a competition training arena, a dressage arena, a covered oval arena, a cement circle arena, a circle arena with an electric lunge, and five training and lunge arenas.
